Dine Out: The Old Fitzroy Hotel Brings Back Laksa
Food & Drink
Laksa is a beloved part of pub’s long history. For one day only, the dish is back on the menu.
With its iconic neon signage of a steaming teacup, you’d be forgiven for thinking that The Old Fitzroy serves tea or coffee. But the sign is actually a nod to the pub’s laksa, a menu favourite back in the 2000s. Longstanding patrons enquire about the laksa every week. Chefs past and present asked to return it to the menu. And now, for one night only as part of Broadsheet’s inaugural Dine Out festival, the cult dish is coming back, with a vegetarian version available.
From 4pm until sold out. Walk-ins welcome, but bookings are advised.
