Make sure you include:
1. A link to your portfolio, or samples of your work.
2. Your area(s) of interest.
3. Your week-to-week availability.
4. The suburb you’re based in.
PLEASE NOTE: Ensure the subject line of your email reads “Photographer Application” exactly, or it will be missed by our filters.

WRITERS
We're always interested in getting to know talented writers. If that means you, please get in touch at sydney@broadsheet.com.au. The subject line should read "Writer Application" exactly.
Make sure you include:
1. A link to your portfolio, or samples of your work.
2. Your area(s) of interest.

4. At least one pitch. It could be an evergreen profile on a cafe, restaurant, bar or shop we haven’t covered yet; a news story about something opening soon; or a feature related to food and drink, fashion and shopping, art and design, or entertainment. Your pitch should let us know your angle, and why you think it is of interest to the Broadsheet audience.

INTERNS
Broadsheet runs an editorial internship program. If you'd like to work with a small energetic team while learning what it takes to publish a first-rate, independent website, let us know.

We run two types of internships:

  1. Part time (one or two days per week) for six to 12 weeks.
  2. Full time for one month.

Unfortunately we do not offer marketing internships or work experience for school-aged students.

Applications should be directed to sydney@broadsheet.com.au. The subject line should read “Internship Application” exactly.
Make sure you include:
1. A short letter of introduction.
2. Your resume.
3. One or two relevant writing samples.
4. Two brief news or feature pitches, and an explanation of why they would be a good fit for Broadsheet.
5. One pitch for an existing cafe, restaurant, bar or shop we haven’t covered yet.
6. Your availability.
PLEASE NOTE: Ensure the subject line of your email reads "Internship Application” exactly, or it will be missed by our filters.
