The acclaimed duo behind Ormeggio and Postino Osteria is serving up a greatest-hits feast of dishes from across their stable of beloved Italian restaurants. The one-night-only dinner proved so popular, a second lunch sitting has been added.

Thursday July 24: the Friday-night sitting of Dinner With the Maestros has sold out. A second lunch service has been added, on Saturday August 16. Nab a table, quick.

Alessandro and Anna Pavoni are the hospo power couple behind Maestro Hospitality, a stable of celebrated Italian restaurants including Ormeggio, Chiosco, A’Mare, Postino Osteria and Cibaria. As Maestro’s fifth venue, Vineria Luisa, launches in Newtown, there’s never been a better time to revisit the group’s most iconic dishes from the last 16 years.

As part of Broadsheet’s debut Dine Out festival, the Pavonis and Maestro Hospitality present “Dinner With the Maestros” – a five-course dinner showcasing classic dishes from each restaurant. Highlights include Ormeggio’s snack selection; veal saltimbocca a la Postino Osteria; and A’Mare’s showstopping trofie pasta, with basil pesto prepared tableside.

It all goes down at Ormeggio on Friday, August 15. Tickets are $159 per person, with unlimited still and sparkling water, tea and coffee included. Plus, a cocktail on arrival featuring Maestro Hospitality’s own signature gin.
