It might be his first venue, but Cameron Lee isn't messing about. His new venture, Warehouse 25, is a distillery, pizzeria and bar. There's also a courtyard, mezzanine dance floor, and an underground gallery space. An on-site bottle shop will soon round off the offering.
The sprawling venue opened in November in Brisbane's brewing hub of Milton, surrounded by XXXX Brewery, Newstead Brewing and Milton Common (formerly Aether Brewing).
A 100-litre vodka still and 50-litre gin still take centre stage in the 436-square-metre warehouse (which was previously home to underground electronic music parties) where the team are producing small-batch spirits under Lee's label Calm Spirits Co., made with "calming" botanicals such as lavender, rose and lemon.

SUBSCRIBE NOWDrinks include classic cocktails and new-school spin-offs made with Calm Spirits Co.’s gin and vodka (including a lavender Martini, ginger and rhubarb Spritz, spiced Iced Tea and grapefruit and rosemary Sour), plus tap beers and craft tinnies. There’s also a tight list of Australian wines available for a neat $9 by the glass or $40 by the bottle.
The menu homes in on pizza (there’s nine to choose from) alongside Italian sides such as caprese salad, charred broccoli with toasted almonds, and mushroom arancini with capsicum and fennel relish.
The venue will remain a place to celebrate music and culture; expect DJs and live bands plus block parties, art exhibitions, vintage garage sales and more.
