Crown Melbourne is about to get a little more disco when Juke’s Karaoke Bar opens next month. It’s a ’70s-themed singalong spot from the crew behind Holey Moley Golf Club and the adults-only arcade bar B. Lucky & Sons.
Whether you’re thanking God it’s Friday, or getting ready for some Saturday night fever, you’ll find space to accommodate your crew: there’ll be plush, technicolour karaoke rooms that fit groups from eight to 25 people.
Once you’ve selected your tracks you can order from Juke’s menu, described in the press release as “a ’70s house party on steroids”. Don’t expect a TV dinner – think crumbed prawn cocktails with a syringe full of sauce, or gooey cheese fondue with crudités and cabanossi. If dessert’s more your thing, there’ll also be a chocolate fondue with marshmallows, fruit and chunks of lamington to dip in.

SIGN UPAnd because a ’70s bar wouldn’t be complete without some sparkle, you can order cocktails to share straight from a mirrorball.
Juke’s Karaoke Bar opens on June 21 at Crown Entertainment Complex, 8 Whiteman Street, Southbank.
