Milo, but make it fried
Kariton Sorbetes, the cult Filipino ice-creamery from chefs John Rivera and Minh Duong, is making the start of winter a little crisper with three nostalgic weeks of fried ice-cream and gelato. It’s currently week two, so the team is serving fried Milo gelato with malted milk chocolate ganache and a Milo crunch at the Footscray location until Sunday June 18. Next on the line-up: fried Vietnamese coffee ice-cream topped with vanilla bean custard, available between June 19 and 25.
