Showbox Coffee Brewers

Showbox Coffee Brewers is not a typical cafe. For instance, despite there being just over a dozen menu items, ‘eclectic’ is the best way to describe this collection of dishes, all of which have a fresh, health-conscious bent.

Showbox showcases coffee by a rotating cast of roasters, including Mecca, Reuben Hills and Marvel Street hoping, as it has done with the menu, to do different, surprising things well while keeping it contained enough to appeal.

The venue’s décor is also unexpected, forgoing typical beach chic for something more urban. Owner Bo Hinzack, previously of the Penny Royal in Mosman, wants to contribute something new to the area and make it great for the troops of Manly-loyal locals. He is inspired by 90s Seattle and the idea of showcasing a range of options and coming up with ideas that will, pleasantly, surprise.
