It’s a Saturday morning and Kith Eatery is packed. What else could you expect from one of Perth’s most anticipated new openings?
Kith means ‘familiar friends and neighbours,’ and the venue is full of both, having become a neighbourhood hub for the Nedlands and Shenton Park community.
“The response has been incredible. We couldn’t have asked for anything more,” says Jess Chisari-Sneeuwjagt, who, along with her husband Joel Sneeuwjagt (both ex-Someday Coffee Co), opened Kith in the old Jack Spratt’s Deli site.

“At lunch, it's all about the hot honey chicken focaccia, the mortadella focaccia and curly fries,” Chisari-Sneeuwjagt says. “We had Aunty Mary’s chicken congee over the weekend too.”
The tropical iced matcha, which combines mango, passionfruit, matcha, and honey, is a drink menu highlight. “The matcha has definitely been one of the most popular items, along with the Kith Mont Blanc, which is traditionally made with orange zest and cream, but we’ve mixed it up a bit with lime and coconut cream,” she says.
Also on offer are treats from Natasha Brownfield’s Teeter Bakery.
