Features
The team at Superdays has been pumping out quality coffee and sandwiches in its little corner of Heidelberg since 2019. Entirely community-focused, owners Caitlin Hunter and Sam Peters have created a true meeting place in the heart of the suburb.
The small, rotating food menu is split between fresh and toasted sandwiches. On the fresh front, it might be roasted herb chicken; mortadella with pickled fennel; or Melbourne’s two-hander du jour: the salad sanga. Toasted options might include a classic ham-and-cheese with relish, or a mainstay pastrami number featuring beef brisket ’stram by specialty butcher Meatsmith.
For something sweet, the cabinet is stocked with cookies, cakes and pastries by Northcote bakery All Are Welcome – which go down nicely with coffee by Seven Seeds. If you’re taking care of coffee at home, Superdays also stocks Seven Seeds beans and cold filter, plus filter-coffee paraphernalia behind the counter.
Whether you choose to dine in at the bright, plant-filled space or take your spoils away, service at Superdays is always quick, easy and friendly. Superdays indeed.
