Pony Dining and Lounge is a woodfired grill restaurant set along Sydney’s oldest cobblestone laneway, in the heart of The Rocks.

The former bond warehouse features hanging woven art on sandstone walls, glossy chocolate settings and an open kitchen where an Argentinean-style wood grill fires out top-tier cuts from some of the country’s best farms, including O’Connor, Stone Axe and Rangers Valley.

Away from the grill, the menu also flaunts yellowfin tuna tartare with house-made crisps; ricotta dumplings with crab; and roasted cauliflower with hazelnut tahini dressing.

The long communal table set outside on the open deck is ideal for warmer days, where diners can sip on cocktails or wines from an extensive list favouring classic Australian varietals.
