Features
Milk & Sugar’s two stores on Brunwick Street in Fitzroy and Chapel Street in Prahran stock the brand’s locally designed range, which includes bedding, tableware, rugs and lighting. Both stores have gone for a minimalist fit-out that doesn’t compete with the richly patterned range.
Milk & Sugar was launched in 2009, starting with a small line of tableware. Since then the range has expanded to include bright and heavily patterned lighting, furniture and textiles. Creative director Cameron Taylor believes that quieter pieces and solid colours are also vital to the design of a room. So while you will find patterned cushions, crockery and plant pots, you will be able to off-set these with a sweet colour palette including items in solid navy, mint, lemon, white and blush pink.
Beyond the Milk & Sugar range the stores also stock everything needed to fill out a room from prints and furniture by Middle of Nowhere, to home fragrance from Voluspa and clutches by Elms + King.
