Rescheduled: Duke Street Block Party

Sat 28th November, 2020
Duke Street, Abbotsford
Price: $65–$75
At the second instalment of this Abbotsford block party, there’ll be international dance-music luminaries, a Jamaican dancehall pioneer, Moon Dog beers, food by Good Gnocchi and more.

This event has been rescheduled until November 28 due to coronavirus concerns.

After a cracking debut last year, Duke Street in Abbotsford will once again be taken over for a massive block party where you'll be surrounded by industrial warehouses and a view of Yarra Bend bushland. And it’ll be ever bigger this year, spilling out along Bond Street and Southampton Crescent.

Topping the bill is Detroit DJ legend Theo Parrish, alongside London-based techno and house producer Mella Dee (in his first Australian appearance), Jamaican dancehall DJ and singer Sister Nancy, and high-energy Russian techno act Anastasia Kristensen.

Plus, there’ll be a live set by New Zealand producer and multi-instrumentalist Lord Echo, as well as performances by local psychedelic groovers Mildlife, beloved Melbourne DJ collective Wax'o Paradiso, house DJ Cassettes for Kids, and more.

The mad hop-scientists at Moon Dog are on booze duty, and there’ll be food by Good Gnocchi, Vietnamese bakery Nhu Lan, Real Jerk Chicken, plus Moon Dog pizza.

Duke Street Block Party is a coming together of Untitled Group (the folks behind Pitch Music and Arts Festival, Beyond the Valley and Ability Fest, among others), as well as Crown Ruler, Moon Dog and PBS 106.7FM. Trust us, these guys know what they’re doing.
