It might just be enough to get away to the balmy surrounds of Byron Bay for a couple of days to feel relaxed and re-energised, but if you’re looking for a holiday that also includes some exercise, this is a good option.
A Mauy Thai bootcamp it ain’t – but Elements of Byron is offering five-day packages that include morning yoga on the beach, outdoor group exercise classes (aqua aerobics, boxing, HIIT workouts), guided rainforest walks, access to tennis courts and a gym, plus the good bits of a resort holiday: buffet breakfast and poolside lounging. (One of the two swimming pools is adults only and has a swim-up bar).
While that already sounds good, the clincher is that the five-day weekday-only package offers resort accommodation at significantly reduced villa rates. A Botanica villa room for five days is $1495 per person (normally $2375), while the fanciest room, the deluxe two-bedroom villa, is $2620 for four people (normally $4475). (See more pricing details here). You can also add on spa treatments at the on-site Osprey Spa.
Elements of Byron’s Relax, Rebalance and Revive deal is available from February 16 for a limited time.
