Maria Sharapova and her cohort of Eastern European glamours may present an argument to the contrary, but generally, sport ain’t pretty. It makes you sweat, it makes you smell and when executed effectively, it will leave you gasping for air. To top it all off, all too often there’s overly tight lycra and fluorescent colours involved, or worse still, an oversized boyfriend’s t-shirt and saggy tights.

Enter Work Out Life, a new lifestyle concept that marries exercise and leisure wear, allowing the modern athlete to go seamlessly from Bikram to bar without breaking a style sweat.

Inspired by a personal desire to “find the balance of how to integrate health and wellness into a hectic…lifestyle”, Work Out Life is the brainchild of former marketing executive and freelance writer Rebecca Quade, who collaborated with creative director Ebru Ecron to design the first 60-piece collection. No stranger to looking super fine at the gym, Ecron has previously worked on the Adidas by Stella McCartney range, as well as Hussein Chalayan for Puma, with these experiences clearly informing the wearable, precision aesthetic of the range.
