Features
Yuku Do delivers food that’s fast, without being stereotypical “fast food”. Inspired by Japanese convenience stores, where quality reigns over quantity, the menu centres on a tight clutch of hand-held options.
Fluffy shokupan sandos are pork or chicken katsu; crab salad; souffle-style egg; and seasonal fruit and cream, each with house-made sauces. Onigiri is generously filled with ingredients like crab, lobster and pickled veg. Sides of chicken karaage, lotus chips and shoestring fries seasoned with furikake are also available.
The drinks list is simple yet refined, with coffee from Melbourne’s Dukes Coffee Roasters and matcha made from a house blend of three types that’s layered and surprisingly mellow.
