Some sounds defy boundaries and require a mound of genre types to describe, calling for a multitude of “slashes” and “dashes”. Critically acclaimed Jordie Lane produces just this type of musical mish-mash.

To celebrate the release of his new single, Fool For Love, Jordie Lane will be playing three shows in his hometown of Melbourne.

Well established spots, Northcote Social Club and The Toff in Town will be welcoming Lane and his four-piece band to perform his signature folk-psych sounds between November and early December. Fool For Love is the first installment and will provide a sense of what is to come from his third album, recorded in Los Angeles with Grammy Award winning producer Tom Billing and due for release in early 2013.

With main support acts from Liz Stringer, who has just recently released her critically acclaimed 4th album Warm in the Darkness, and has been nominated for Best Album and Best Female for the EG Awards, the string of Jordie Lane shows is a must see for folk, blues and country fans alike.
