Esse Studios Pop-Up
Australian designer and Esse Studios founder Charlotte Hicks has been in the fashion industry for over a decade, with stints at Zimmermann and Sass & Bide before she launched her own label in 2018 with a focus on slow fashion, durable materials and timeless tailoring. And after a successful runway at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week, she’s just launched her first physical retail concept for a limited time.
The pop-up is taking place at Edit Collection, an evolving concept store highlighting emerging fashion talent from Australia. Esse Studios’ latest collection, Edition No.7, will be on the racks, and Hicks is offering customers a one-on-one personal styling session on July 30 and 31, and again on August 20 and 21 – make a booking here.
The retail space is fitted with new fashion tech like shoppable change room mirrors (live out your fantasies of having Cher’s closet from Clueless, gesture-controlled screens and a digital assistant that’ll help you snap selfies with the products.
