As summer rolls around the annual pilgrimage to the Victorian coastline begins. Slowly but surely the streets of Melbourne empty and the beaches of Portsea, Lorne and Anglesea fill. During the summer months, the population of these quiet coastal towns swells in size. Wye River has a resident population of little more than 100 people throughout the year; once summer hits it grows to 6000. We’re going to hazard a guess that a few of you may be in these numbers. Whether you’re ducking down for a cheeky day trip, a weekender or settling in for the summer, you’ll want some good breakfast and coffee options. We’ve put together a list of a few places worth checking out whilst away on your summer break.
