The Painted Ladies, a supergroup of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander musicians, will perform for one night only at NGV with the legendary Vic Simms.

Founder of the group Luke Peacock represents the next generation of black-Australian artists. His love for the music of Vic Simms came after discovering an unmarked cassette of his 1973 album, The Loner, while working at an Indigenous radio station in Brisbane.

The band has performed for the Brisbane Festival and WOMADelaide, and now reunites for one night for NGV's Friday Nights series

Doors open 6pm. Headline act starts 8.30pm.
