Crafty Co. is a collective of local artists who have taken up residence in the space that was once Drummond Street Cellars (the bottle shop has moved to Elgin Street). With an emphasis on the handmade and the intricate, the Crafty Co. kids have a huge selection of unique pieces.

Passersby may have already noticed the changing window display, which hints at what can be discovered within the store until the end of October.

Currently, you can find the knitted and stitched work of Sharon Margaret, who pays homage to the granny who taught her how to knit with her knitted jewellery and accessories, as well as a sweet selection of (sadly inedible) oversized knitted cakes and doughnuts.

Little Things, meanwhile, makes a set of intricate butterfly mobiles, while milliner Feathers & Bows supplies handmade hats, headbands and fascinators.

Upstairs, there’s a studio space available for short-term lease, projects and exhibitions, until the end of October. For expressions of interest, contact Tracey here.
