An institution for hip Sutherland Shire locals, Ham (an acronym for owners and brothers Harry and Mario) serves up some of the best coffee in Cronulla.

On the weekend, the pint-sized cafe is packed to the rafters with caffeine hungry customers, often seen waiting patiently on the footpath for one of the street-side tables to be vacated. They’re all after the special ‘Ham’ blend, which has been created by world champion barista Paul Bassett and is perfectly smooth.

The menu offers a array of dishes from the cafe’s deli, including the ever-popular Brekkie Plate of ricotta, eggs, tomato, avocado and prosciutto served on crusty, toasted Turkish bread. The paninis are also a huge hit, as are the muffins and baklava, homemade by Harry and Mario’s mum.

That Ham is a family owned business is obvious; the service is as friendly and inviting as you could hope and the brothers take time to get to know their regulars.

A great place for a casual breakfast or lunch on a sunny day.
