Brewpub Sparkke at the Whitmore is helping keep local music alive – live-streaming gigs from its rooftop every Thursday night.
The series, which kicked off with the genre-bending Alana Jagt on May 21, features a line-up that’s all-female (and all-SA). You can catch jazzy three-piece The Boys Club on May 28, local supergroup The Eileens on June 4, the 16-year-old Circles singer George Alice on June 11, and indie-pop outfit Wing Defence on June 18.
The event’s presented in conjunction with Founders First, a company that supports growth in the beer and spirits industries. It’s just launched a Knock-Offs pack, which includes 16 great Aussie craft beers from indie breweries such as Sparkke, Stone & Wood and Young Henrys. Pick one up at Liquorland, Vintage Cellars or First Choice Liquor ahead of the livestream.
Stream it here.
From 6pm.
