As a part of the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival, jewellery retail gallery, e.g. etal will be presenting FIGMENT, an exhibition showcasing the works of seven contemporary jewellery designers. The exhibition will be held at e.g.etal’s Flinders Lane gallery from 11 – 27 March 2010.

Drawing on personal memories of a treasured fable or myth, participating artists - Katherine Bowman, Michaela Bruton, Anna Davern, Natalia Milosz-Piekarska, Jessica Morrison, Karla Way and Kate Wheeler – have produced new works that reference these rich narratives through colour, materiality and form.

e.g. etal’s showroom will be transformed into a vibrant mythical landscape. The intention of the installation is to imbue the space with a sense of whimsy and playfulness while allowing a direct connection with the individual works on display.

FIGMENT is being curated and designed by Fleur Watson from creative studio, Something Together in collaboration with French graphic designer AnneLaure Cavigneaux from March Studio, who will create the bespoke installation.
