ust in time for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, menswear label Leopold has relocated from their premises at City Square to a new shop space around the corner in Manchester Lane. As they make the transition from one space to the next, the label has launched pop-up sale in the new shop space.

The makeshift sale store is only temporary and will closing for renovations following Fashion Week.

While Leopold designers Shandor Gancs and Boyd Parry aren’t yet certain of how the new store layout will look when complete, Gancs says it will no doubt be influenced by 1960s design, as is their latest collection. Indeed, Leopold’s spring/summer range combines 1960s inspired tailoring with a faded palette of dusty pinks, sandy yellows and pale blues, where “Mad Men meets Miami” according to Gancs.

Rather than reviving the 60s, the new collection represents more of modern revision of the era, equating to fitted black blazers matched with washed-out cotton shirts, chinos and rolled cuff shorts.

Leopold has also recently released their first full women’s collection, which is also inspired by the era and includes classic designs such as silk crepe dresses, art deco printed garments, sheer silk blouses and high waisted, wide-leg pants.

Leopold’s pre-renovation sale is offering upto 70 per cent off their winter collection and 10 per cent off their new spring/summer collection is strictly for a limited time. In the interim you can shop at their new online store.
