Jinja Safari began as songwriting and multi-instrumentalist duo Marcus Azon and Pepa Knight. But after some successful support slots with high profile Australian talents Miami Horror and Cloud Control, the band quickly grew to a five piece enlisting the talents of drummer Jacob Borg, Joe Citizen on bass and percussionist Alister Pattern.
After winning Triple J's Unearthed competition with hit single & indie hit Peter Pan, Jinja Safari are touring the release of their EP (and second single by same name) Forest Eyes this November.
Joining Jinja Safari on The Forest Eyes Tour will be Melbourne 6 piece Alpine and Sydney-siders Fishing.
