For its 15th outing, St. Jerome's Laneway Festival has just dropped a belter of a line-up.
In a win for Australian music, a pack of local heroes are leading the charge. Chief among them are Gang of Youths, Courtney Barnett, Baker Boy, Camp Cope and Cosmo's Midnight.
International highlights include Florida rapper Denzel Curry, English electronic maestro Jon Hopkins and New York City rockers Parquet Courts.
As reported by Triple J the festival has been open about its gender split. Based on permanent members of each act, this year's line-up includes a 64 per cent to 34 per cent, male to female split. 53 per cent of the line-up is made up of Australian acts.
