The Rubens

Since forming in 2011, the boys from NSW have well and truly made their mark on the Australian music scene. Since the release of their home-recorded soulful single Lay It Down, The Rubens have become a household name. The group have announced four shows across the country in support of their new single Don’t Ever Want To Be Found and are playing at this year’s Splendour in The Grass.

Having recently returned from the US after working with David Kahne (Regina Spector, Paul McCartney and The Strokes) the band are due to release their debut album this coming September. Known already for their captivating vocals and tunes soaked in soul, no doubt the next thing to come from the band will be nothing less than impressive.
