MCA ArtBar

The recently revamped Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) is bidding its beloved monthly ArtBar goodbye and they’re sending it off with a bang.

Melbourne-based Jon Campbell is helming the reigns for the ArtBar’s finale, using satire, a wry Australian vernacular and plain old rock’n’roll in his exhibition Shit Yeah – Jon Campbell rocks the MCA.

They’ve got DJ duo Dads with Earrings spinning the decks, acoustic performances, lectures by Campbell and friends, gallery tours with a twist and an elevator performance by Peter Oxley of 80’s pop-rock sensation The Sunnyboys.

Three years after his exhibition at MCA, Campbell is back to send our senses into a frenzy.
