Black Star Pastry Valentine's Day Baking Class

Black Star Pastry has been offering up its famous cakes, pies and pastries around the corner from the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre since 2008.

While it has taken Black Star mastermind Christopher Thé over 700 4am starts to get where he is now, Work-Shop is hosting an evening class that will let Sydney-siders get a glimpse into the pastry industry and hone some skills for themselves. Maria Mayhew will be teaching this velvet layer-cake workshop, from the history and theory right through to the preparation and icing of your very own cake.

All just time time for Valentine's Day.
