AICE Israeli Film Festival

Wed 15th August, 2012 – Sun 26th August, 2012
Palace Verona
17 Oxford Street, Paddington

This year's AICE Israeli Film Festival will showcase the best in Israeli film from the last 12 months. In its ninth year the festival will travel to cities all over Australia, stopping in Sydney during August with film screenings at Oxford Street's Palace Verona.

The burgeoning Israeli film industry acts as a voice and a mirror for a nation struggling to attain and retain its identity. The program will include films by prizewinners from other renowned festivals like Sundance and Berlin and will show both feature films and documentaries. The opening night film screening will be Restoration, a moving exploration of fatherhood and a generational gap.

The festival is presented by Palace Cinemas and the Australia Israel Cultural Exchange. Tickets on sale from July 25.
