Set in a small corner shop on Enmore Road, Wheelhaus stocks high-end German road bikes, locally designed cycling apparel and all the bits and bobs required to keep you and your machine in the fast lane.

Wheelhaus stocks Focus, Storck and Stoemper bikes – sleek road-racing machines for the serious cyclist (with serious price tags to match). Wheelhaus also has a workshop and offers a tune-up service for those wanting to keep their machines in tip-top condition.

In addition to bikes, Wheelhaus stocks cycling apparel, including jerseys from Attaquer - Hamer's own line of cycling clothing. Attaquer jerseys, replete with colourful motifs, are designed in Sydney by Hamer and another partner and manufactured in Italy. Wheelhaus also stocks Castelli, the classic Italian cycling apparel brand revered by two-wheeler enthusiasts the world over.

Out the back, there's an espresso machine and fridge stocked with Young Henrys beer (the brewery is just around the corner). “We wanted to create a space where people feel comfortable hanging out - not just another regular shop,” says co-owner Greg Hamer. “Customers can come in and share a beer or coffee with us while we talk shop.”
