Originally a roaming service, where one of Suit Shop’s P. Johnson-trained tailors would arrive at your home or office armed with a measuring tape, gentlemen in need of something custom made also have the opportunity to pay a visit to the tailors’ headquarters.

The setting is perfectly fitting for the suit makers – the Strand’s elegant cedar balustrades, carved shop fronts and marble columns call out for a smart style. The space has been designed as a dressing room of sorts, where warm tones and soft lighting pay tribute to historic hardwood flooring. Made-to-measure suits start at a very reasonable $750 and can be built from a huge variety of cloths. Suit Shop managing director Rob Blythe hopes that the broadening of the service will add to the brand’s promise of custom convenience.

At Suit Shop the future of retail is about being readily available to consumers whether it be at work, in store or from the comfort of their own home.
