Project 82 has relocated to Unit 9, 80 O’Riordan Street, Alexandria.
There is more to Project 82 than what lies on the tiny showroom floor on Fitzroy Street in Surry Hills. Peer into the window to see a busy lounge room set-up of Armadillo&Co rugs, Home Cargo tables and chairs, Kip & Co crocodile bed linen and bath towels and antique cage light pendants strung up above Jardan ottomans, Aspen buffets, outdoor Pebble chairs and fluoro votives on bedside tables. It’s a colourful space with a diverse spread of homely pieces.
Owners Tom William (an interior designer) and Shelley Mason opened their small store in 2010 as a space to showcase Australian made home wares, but it has since grown to include custom made sofas (by Staple & Co) and an interior design service that sits alongside their collection. This means that William and Mason will in fact come to your home to help you kit it out, no matter the size – which might seem a little less daunting then bringing on a whole interior design team.
Their pieces are sold online too, so you can browse the site, or drop into the store to talk house anytime.
Project 82 is open by appointment on Mondays and Tuesdays.
We do not seek or accept payment from the cafes, restaurants, bars and shops listed in the Directory – inclusion is at our discretion. Venue profiles are written by independent freelancers paid by Broadsheet.
