Oski Yoga is a small oasis, a stone’s throw from North Sydney station. Director Karen Roberts was looking for a space for five years, and chose the location because it’s in the heart of the corporate world – which make up the majority of her clients.

With a background in human resources within the hospitality, event management and sales industries, Roberts understands the pressures that come with a corporate job. Her work in high stress-level industries gave her a genuine interest in providing wellbeing close by.

The studio offers Vinyasa yoga, barre, meditation and reformer Pilates classes. The downstairs yoga studio features individual infrared heating panels hanging from the ceiling, set to 24 degrees. The two upstairs studios are used for Pilates and barre classes, which are designed to complement yoga practice.

Roberts designed the studio as a space for serenity, hominess and functionality. The interior is entirely white, with warm wooden tones of a handful of tables and chairs in the entrance room. A floor-to-ceiling window, extending across the two floors of the studio, doubles as the facade and fills the studios with a delicate natural light.
