Amid the hustle and bustle of the main shopping strip on Oxford Street sits the Josh Goot flagship store.

A striking space with high ceilings and paladiana flooring throughout while garments hang down the sides of the room between large concrete pillars. Unique jersey pieces and structured printed items compliment the arrival of new categories within his seasonal collections with new cocktail corsetry and tailoring, stretch drill fabrications, easy 'day' dressing (tees and tank dresses).

Everything is very considered here and though we might have seen shops that look like galleries before (where we feel like we should look but not touch), this is something else. Large floor-to-ceiling mirrors are in fact the doors to the change rooms at the far end of the store, past the solid central counter and a rock pool. Daylight shines in down the back through a glass rooftop that retracts to open up the back part of the room above a custom carpet by Goot’s long time collaborator and digital print designer, Shane Sakkeus.

The store comes alive with a new collection each season, with all the colour and glory that we have come to expect from a Josh Goot range. He never does things by halves and this store is certainly no exception. And if you're the sort who prefers shopping from the comfort of your bedroom, Goot's online store provides shipping to over 200 countries worldwide.
