Jardan’s Sydney showroom is sure to leave a lasting impression. Designed by architect Iva Foschia, the spacious two-storey warehouse in Rosebery is a whitewashed and light-filled space that perfectly showcases the beautiful furniture created by this Melbourne-based, family-owned company.
With a core collection comprising sofas, chairs, tables, beds and storage units for both the residential and commercial markets, there is a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and creative modern design at Jardan. It’s an approach that brings together soft curves and clean lines and somewhat of a retro element through the use of colour, texture and fabric.
Refreshingly, in an age where most companies are sending their production offshore, Jardan’s furniture is made-to-order at their Melbourne manufacturing facilities. They are also endorsed by the Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) Label – an Australian labelling program that certifies the environmental performance of products – to Level A, the highest attainable certification. So in the way of feel-good furniture purchases, Jardan ticks both the locally made and environmentally conscious boxes. Bonus points for a furniture company that is sure to build on and grow its following in Sydney with the opening of its shiny new showroom.
