Down on the bend of Williams Street, on your way to the Alimentari for a panini, make sure to stop into that little shop where the mannequins stand at attention, wrapped in preloved clothes.

Its unassuming shopfront may lead you to believe that this small seconds and second-hand store is something rather ordinary. But shoppers take heed – this is a goldmine of recycled fashion and vintage designer pieces in great nick.

Once inside, you’ll be sifting through racks of Hermes, Marc Jacobs, DVF, Dior and Isabel Marant. You’ll see Prada bags, Lanvin wallets and Chloe sandals alongside local designers pieces, shoes, hats, jewellery and bags from eras gone by. We’re talking Collette Dinningan, Willow, Scanlan & Theodore and the like. You might even pick up a nice little Marni number for that next do. It’s all rather upscale.

With new clothing arriving each day with the de-cluttering of local wardrobes, there is a regular turnover here. One woman’s trash is truly another’s treasure at Di Nuovo.
