The Best Little Bookshop in Town embodies far more than its name implies. For a start, it’s the only bookseller in Sydney with a dedicated wellness hosting yoga classes, psychic mediums, and guided tutorials on the Wim Hof breathing method led by a certified instructor.

It’s also been trading in Cronulla for over 40 years and, in that time, has become a bonafide pillar of the community. The shop is entirely staffed by locals, and co-owner Kimberley Fehon says some of its teenage customers have been coming back since they were little kids.

Like many independent booksellers of its ilk, this one stocks an eclectic range of page-turners, plus a selection of ultra-rare and collectable titles – think first-editions of literary classics, such as Truman Capote’s nonfiction masterwork, In Cold Blood.
