Features
Set on the corner of Mentmore and Morley avenues, this bright cafe, run by Connor Canham (ex-Bondi’s Best, The Corner House and Porch and Parlour), offers mostly health-focused breakfast and lunches, with a few not-so-clean options too.
The kitchen serves up a dish of bolognese mince on Iggy’s sourdough toast, parmesan cheese and poached eggs. Other favourites include the “sprouted avocado” – a plate of avocado, hummus, labneh and turmeric olive oil on sprouted bread. There’s also spanner crab linguine with chilli, coriander and shallots.
There’s a liquor license, which means breakfast Margaritas with homemade marmalade and Bloody Mary’s.
Urban Future designed the interior, which is lofty and clean with large timber tables, brass light fittings and pale grey hexagonal tiles.
