Following the success of its first store on the Gold Coast, and its second location in Brisbane, Ze Pickle in Surry Hills has the same vibe as its predecessors.
Adam Cheers is the owner-operator and franchisee for the Foveaux Street store, and the menu is exactly the same as at the Queensland stores. It features Wagyu beef, chicken, pulled pork and vegetarian burgers. The 3AM is a Wagyu beef patty with bacon, Kanye's Fried Cheeze Sticks with guacamole and the venue’s signature sauce. Bar snacks include deep-fried Oreos served with liquid Nutella. There’s craft beer on tap and a range of tequila, cocktails and wines.
The fit-out is eclectic and punchy, with Pacman-shaped neon lights; walls made of repurposed drawer ends; and lots of black, metal accents. There are a variety of table-seating options, but sitting at the bar – beside the signature Barbie doll atop the beer taps – is where it's at.
Ze Pickle might serve fast food, but it’s the kind of place where patrons can take their time and spend an evening.
We do not seek or accept payment from the cafes, restaurants, bars and shops listed in the Directory – inclusion is at our discretion. Venue profiles are written by independent freelancers paid by Broadsheet.
