The Wine Library
Features
Over 350 handpicked drops make up the dedicated, 15-page wine menu at this sophisticated Oxford Street bar and eatery.
Arriving on the Sydney bar scene in 2010, by the guys that bought us the ever-popular Buzo (the Italian restaurant just around the corner on Jersey Road), The Wine Library is constantly brimming with wine connoisseurs, industry folk and a largely older, stylish eastern suburb-dwelling crowd.
By night, the converted shop-front glows with 50s-style orange light. The bar is long and high, with wine bottles lining the walls behind and low-hanging industrial lamps. The courtyard provides the prefect place for a summer evening drink, while the dining room out the back is set for a relaxing and intimate meal from the Mediterranean menu, ideal for sharing.
While The Wine Library is a wine bar, they also do a few cocktails and jugs of sangria, but in our opinion, going to a wine bar and not having wine is like ordering a salad at a steakhouse, or asking for vodka at Oktoberfest.
Bring a date and settle in for the night. You’ll be well looked after.
