Table Manners is a Euro-inspired neighbourhood restaurant on Bronte’s Macpherson Street, and the first solo venture by Sydney hospo veteran (and Bronte local) Alex Cameron, who’s consulted on Bobby’s in Cronulla and Bartiga in Double Bay. Notably, he was also the group general manager at Sydney French favourites Franca, Parlar and Armorica.

Table Manners has two distinct spaces: a bar with six seats and a relaxed lounge area, and a dining room with 75 seats. There’s also a private dining room big enough for groups of 10.

Like the handsome brasseries on Cameron’s resume, Table Manners take cues from the cuisines of France, Italy and the UK. Crab pain perdu, a Moreton Bay bug club sandwich and the crispy spaghetti all’Assassina with king prawns were highlights on the opening menu. Lesser known varieties from premier European wine regions are also on the cards, along with a short list of classic cocktails with seasonal twists.
