Mojo Wine Bar
Australian chef and restaurateur Luke Mangan (of Glass Brasserie) has opened his new headquarters in the vibrant, creative precinct of Waterloo.
Situated in an old industrial warehouse, Headquarters by Luke Mangan is home to Mangan’s head office, product warehouse, test kitchen, a communal dining and function space, as well as Mojo, a unique wine and tapas bar.
Mojo is an ideal spot to unwind over a smorgasbord of tapas-style sharing plates along with a glass of wine in a casual, intimate setting that can seat up to 26. There’s a relaxed vibe – nothing fancy or pretentious. And on weekend nights the shutters come down once the space reaches maximum capacity. You almost feel like it’s a secret warehouse dining party.
Start with crisp flat bread with guacamole and Mangan’s mum’s tomato chutney and then progress to their signature kingfish sashimi with ginger, shallot and Persian feta (a staple on Mangan’s restaurant menus). Continue feasting on charcuterie plates, pork belly tacos, prawn and pineapple salsa mini burgers and finish off with a chocolate and jam lamington.
