THE LATEST

April 2024 update: Henrietta has just launched all-you-can-eat dining on weekends. Get unlimited charcoal chicken and sides (chips, toum, fattoush and more) for 90 minutes for $48 per person. Add bottomless wine and beer for an extra $35. Available Saturday and Sunday, lunchtime only.

Menu

Henrietta is a casual eatery and takeaway joint where Lebanese-style charcoal chicken is the star. The space is neon-splashed and tactile-friendly, with a clever combination of terrazzo and textured concrete surfaces. A bar in the centre handles the spritzes, spicy Margs and espresso Martinis. All said, Henrietta’s isn’t your average neighbourhood chook shop.

The best way to eat everything here is with your hands. Tear open some bread; slather garlicky toum across it; load up with sides; and eat it all together. It’s not fancy, but it’s definitely fun. And you’ve got plenty of options here – order your chook in whole, half, breast or thigh portions. Meals come with toum, pickles, bread and a choice of sides including fattoush and tabouli.

The menu also covers mezze, from smoky babaganoush to falafel with tahini and pickles. From the charcoal grill, it’s shish-tawouk (skewered chicken) and lamb kofta. When Broadsheet visited, we also loved the baklava-inspired ice-cream sandwich.
