Down N' Out
After pop-ups inside the Sir John Young and in Penrith, Hashtag Burgers’ In-N-Out (from the US)-inspired burger bar, Down N’ Out got a permanent home.
The partnership with the Sir John Young went so well Down N’ Out’s now a fixture there.
Ben Kagan, fellow co-founder Archie Saliba and chef Sebastien Cens are behind the operation. Burgers include a double burger with double Wagyu beef, double American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and secret sauce. The chicken burger has Southern fried chicken thigh, shredded lettuce and house ranch dressing. And the Vego burger is made with a spinach-and-ricotta patty, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, raw onion and secret sauce.
The menu also involves popcorn chicken and loaded fried chicken with various toppings (such as bacon).
