Any time Maurice Terzini (Icebergs, Ciciabella, and many more)) announces that he's opening a new restaurant, it's big news.
But Belongil Italian Food Real Wine and Bar – which is a bit of a mouthful – is particularly big news. The new restaurant, which is in Byron, is due to open later on in the year. Terzini rarely ventures beyond Sydney for his projects, aside from the odd foray in Bali, so Belongil Italian's opening speaks to the popular seaside town's growing influence within Australia's culinary scene.
