Not just another pretty face, this bistro/cafe humbly resides in the historic sandstone St James Trust building. Encapsulating Parisian fine dining and sophisticated Italian charm, the cafe, restaurant and wine bar evokes the romance of a time gone by. The moody interior lighting illuminates the tiniest of details from daily specials scrawled on mirrors, while petit tables for two lead out to an open outdoor terrace that overlooks Hyde Park, perfect for people watching over a piccolo.
Bambini Trust is renowned for its service and presentation of dishes, and diners can pop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner and choose from a classic menu, which includes an open-faced omelette of prosciutto, goat’s curd and basil, caramelised pumpkin and Persian feta ravioli, cracked-pepper spaghettini with sautéed prawns, or a whole roasted fish. For dessert, have an affogato or a crisp Limoncello tart.
Enjoy a tipple in the grand Bambini Wine Room, furnished with chandeliers and an Italian marble bar and featuring an extensive wine list.
