When Algorithm opened in Marrickville in 2023, it was a welcome addition to the suburb’s already vibrant cafe scene. On the menu were two-tone drinks direct from Asia’s booming cafe culture, as well as elevated brunches you’d happily let the camera eat first. 

Two years later, co-owners Beryl Leomongga and Baby Angelina Kartiko opened a sleek sibling in Potts Point. Though the offering is slightly different here, the signatures are all intact. That means truffled eggs folded with Grana Padano and chives, and cold brew coffee layered with silky house-made cream.
