Menu

From the team behind Entrata in the Hills, Antica Dining is an Italian restaurant inside a heritage-listed North Sydney house – diagonally across from the Victoria Cross metro station.

The Italian restaurant is hard to miss. From the outside, it embodies cottagecore and cosiness. Inside, it’s all old-world luxury, with art deco interiors, high ceilings and patterned carpets.

The menu, curated by Entrata exec chef Jomel Santos, leans into traditional Italian dishes – with a slightly luxe edge. Take the linguine aragosta, where twirls of slippery, buttery pasta tossed with tomatoes, chilli and a rich lobster bisque sit alongside a half lobster cooked in saffron butter.

The squid ink spaghetti arrives with a medley of calamari, ’nduja, tomatoey mussels and prawns. Back on land there’s casarecce lamb ragu, pumpkin risotto with pork and fennel sausages, and an array of Riverine beef cuts.

Antica’s wine list features 300-plus bottles from all regions of Italy. From top to tail, Antica brings an undeniable warmth, hospitality and “new” old charm.
