Native ingredients rule the menu at Lowkey, a coffee bar and bakehouse by popular Kirribilli cafe, BTB.
Baked goods and sandwiches are all made fresh in-house every morning. Sweeten up your commute with a brioche doughnut piped with strawberry-gum jam and wattleseed custard. Or try one of the cafe’s killer two-hand options. Past highlights include a Reuben featuring kangaroo pastrami and lemon myrtle dressing.
Lowkey is hidden down a pedestrian alleyway just two minutes’ walk from North Sydney train station. You can knock back an espresso or a wattleseed chai at a stand-up table, or take a seat and watch the world go by through floor-to-ceiling windows. A minimal design features handsome carpentry and bunches of native flowers.
